We’re here to help you build your best business

...to empower, to untangle, and to grow!

Homeroom began in 2016 as an education program to empower  entrepreneurs and small businesses through in-person workshops, large-format talks, and one-on-one consultations. Most of these workshops and talks surrounded financial strategy (particularly pricing, and building sustainable systems), and creating marketing plans.

As the years moved forward, relationships grew,
and our network & skillset grew as well.

Currently, consulting through Homeroom focuses on business operations :

  • organizational development — increasing efficiency, process development, optimizing internal structure

  • marketing — target market identification and research, branding strategy, putting data into action

  • financial — breakevens, projections, pricing, planning for growth

  • project management — planning for expansion, moving from concept to execution

  • data analysis — number crunching and developing insights from large data sets

We work with a range of clients from entrepreneurs to multi-location organizations, but our bread and butter is working with business owners, leadership and teams who are ready to take their business to the next step. Check out our full list of services, and then in touch!

Branding strategy for businesses

Success can (and should) look different for every business.

There is no one size fits all approach.

The only consistent thread is that sustainable businesses require consistent monitoring, strategic adjustments, and creative problem solving.

Homeroom works to help you find your success!

I love to help businesses untangle the mess and find what they need to be successful. When I started my first business (as a photographer), I felt completely overwhelmed when it came to building a good business foundation. I was paralyzed and frustrated with the lack business education for creatives. Having little to no resources made a difficult task 100 times harder.

After years of feeling like I was over-my-head drowning, lots of trial & error, and many failures & successes, I started to find a bit of a rhythm. A few years later, the unexpected happened, I began to really love the business end of things — I started to swim. In fact, I loved the business side so much, I decided to hit the books and get my Masters in Business Administration (MBA).

While in the MBA program, I was able to make smarter decisions about pricing, budgeting, and growth. It was the marriage of running my own business and diving deep into various business subjects and case studies that really opened my mind into both the constants and individualities from business to business. Picture that blockbuster movie sequence when all the chaos finally starts to come together and make sense. It was during this time, that I started Homeroom.

You shouldn't (and don't) have to get your MBA to understand the cashflow, projections, marketing strategies, and operational development of your small business. That's where Homeroom comes in!

My favorite part of my work is when I see that same lightbulb moment in my clients eyes. When we’ve been working together and all of a sudden it clicks. That’s when we start really making big strides forward, and that’s the moment(s) I keep pushing for.
